Ardingly is unusual among leading UK schools in offering a real choice of academic pathway to suit each individual’s strengths. Our students can choose from 25 different A Level subjects or can take the IB Diploma. Whichever pathway they choose, our students’ results are among the best in the UK. Ardingly offers more than 130 co-curricular options to help every student try new things, find their passion and develop new skills. We are also fortunate to have Ardingly Reservoir on our doorstep, which allows us to offer an unparalleled range of water sports options on site. Pastoral care at Ardingly is exceptional; we were the first school in the UK to be awarded a ‘significant strength’ in boarding (the highest accolade given by the Independent Schools Inspectorate). Our small pastoral groups (ten students maximum in a Tutor group) means every individual is known, nurtured and supported.
