St Michael’s School is one of the UK’s leading independent schools. 86.8% of all A-Level grades were A* or A, 96.7% were A*-B and 99.5% were A*- C. A remarkable 96.1% of students gained at least one A*/A grade and almost all earned a place at their chosen university to study courses such as Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Engineering and Economics. The Medical Preparation course offers a full programme of support and in-depth preparation for Medicine and Dentistry. The course is mainly designed for Year 12 and Year 13 students who are preparing for academic studies in those highly competitive field. Pupils have a chance to have MMI practice interviews and meet alumni from medical field. Career advice is offered from Year 9 in relation to GCSE options. There is support to help identify the best choice of A-Levels during Year 11, to align these with the possible choices for further study and careers. Also, our alumni will return school to give presentations and exchange academic insights with current students.
